Mary Barry

Renovating and reinventing organizations and keeping an eye on the future has been central to Mary Barry's professional life. As CEO of the Victorian Association of Health and Extended Care, Mary successfully amalgamated two separate organisations into one professional body, implemented a strategic plan, opened up memberships and introduced education and training programs for carers.

The drive to change an organisation requires a vision of the future for an aging Baby Boomer generation.

Mary sees that many Baby Boomers will turn into second time round bloomers, requiring new services and products to live an new and exciting second adulthood.

Mary has made a study of this extraordinary generation and the potential impacts on the economy and business.

As a Baby Boomer, Mary is devoted to keeping fit, contributes to the community as a volunteer and follows many cultural pursuits, as well as delivering thought provoking presentations at conferences and seminars.
